Artifacts and Archives: The Delaware Military
Heritage and Education Foundation Inc. has the
responsibility for the restoration and preservation of
an extraordinary collection of artifacts and archives of
significant historical value. Take a tour of this
sampling of our holdings and learn more about our
collection and our efforts to protect this visual record
of our heritage. We have hundreds of artifacts and
thousands of archival documents in our burgeoning
collection. We have an extensive military library and
thousands of photographic images dating from 1898
to the present.

Our photographic and image collection numbers in the thousands. We have scanned and digitized hundreds of pictures of
Army and Air National Guard images noteworthy among them are photos of WWII and the 198th Coast Artillery deployed in
Bora Bora. Some of these images have been published by Arcadia Publishing in their "Images of America" series in two titles:
