WILMINGTON Delaware:

The
Delaware Military Museum will host an Open House on Wednesday May 14, 2008 from 4:00PM to 7:
00 PM, at its Fort duPont facility in the former Post Exchange/Gymnasium building in Delaware City.  This
is the first time the site of the future Museum will be available for inspection by the public.  The event is
open to the public.

After a self-guided walking tour of the building, visitors will be entertained by a visit with “General Douglas
MacArthur”, and members of his staff in a formal program beginning at 5:00 PM. Special honored guests
will include Mr. Forrest Guth, an original member of the “Band of Brothers”, and veteran of D-Day and the
Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Littleton Mitchell, one of the original members of the legendary Tuskegee Airmen,
and a pioneer with the NAACP, has also been invited as a guest of honor.

Other invited guests include government dignitaries from Delaware City, Delaware Natural Resources and
Environmental Protection, Dover AFB, and the Delaware National Guard.

Music will be provided by the 287th Army Band, Delaware National Guard, and refreshments and hors d’
oeuvres will be served.  It is free to members of the Delaware Military Museum, and $15 per guest.  All
proceeds benefit the Museum fund.
